Plants were a major theme in Jungle of Despair, and we got a few to fill some gaps.
I like how the Musk Creeper could be posed climbing up a tree or wall. The Murder Vine presents well, but it has an uneven enough surface that it is difficult to balance a mini on top of it. I guess if a player gets grabbed by it, he’s falling down!
The Shambler is the fourth offering in the shambling mound line (well, technically the Warbound Impaler is its own unique thing). Even though there are now many options, I think I like the Shambler the best. Just like with the Harbinger version, it looks like a bush, not a beast. But unlike the Harbinger one, it has the stature of the Stormrage Shambler, which helps make it (as basically a plant) look much more formidable. I was quite thrilled to get three of these things.
The last plant is the Mold Runt. We just got Vegepygmies from Tomb of Annihilation aftr a long drought, so this was a bit of a surprise. It is unfortunate that the two styles are so different in size, it makes it a little harder to mix and match them.
